Student writes his own death application, Principal signs it

A class 8 student of a reputed private school in Kanpur needed a half-day leave from school since his grandmother had expired. But instead of mentioning that in his leave application, the student wrote a weird reason.

In his application addressed to the principal, he wrote that he had passed away at 10 am in the morning and needed to go home early. He urged the principal to allow him half-day leave. What’s more bizarre, the principal without even reading the letter, granted him permission and signed the application.

The matter came to light after someone from school shared the leave application on social media.
