It is time to bid adieu to 2016. And what better way than enjoy some videos that went viral this year. Below are two such videos, rather two extremes – while in one, a Chicago-based teacher wrote a rap song to welcome his students, the other is a serious take on the prevalent education system. Enjoy…
1) The rap teacher
Instead of welcoming his students in the traditional boring way, Dwayne Reed, a student-teacher at Stenson Elementary School in Skokie, US, created a rap video to welcome his 4th grade students. He wrote the song himself, and recorded a music video to go along with it. The song went viral within days of its release. Imagine a teacher welcoming you like this to your new class! What fun it would be?
2) “I just sued the school system”
A bit lengthy though, this video is an excellent take on education system prevalent today. Although targeted primarily at the US school system, it is very much relevant to India as well. The video has motivational artist Prince EA playing the role of a lawyer who sues the school system. It will force you to think.
