Now, log on to eSanad and verify students’ documents
Good news for students who wish to study abroad. The government has launched an online verification portal, eSanad, which will make document verification process easier for students.
On Wednesday, external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj, electronics and information technology minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and HRD minister Prakash Javadekar jointly inaugurated the integration of eSanad with CBSE’s Parinam Manjusha (the academic repository of certificates and degrees of students).
eSanad is aimed at online verification of the documents with an objective to extend contactless, cashless and paperless document attestation/ apostille service to applicants in India as well as abroad. The integration of eSanad with Parinam Manjusha will help students avoid long travels and precious resources of time and money for getting their documents attested by the concerned authorities in states. It also allows filing the application online. This repository can be used both by educational institutions as well as employers to verify students’ academic records.
All that a verifier has to do is to register at the portal, seek CBSE’s approval to verify students result data and make a payment accordingly. After this, the board will inform both the verifier and the student whose data is being accessed through email.
Students will, however, have to wait for sometime as eSanad is yet to become completely functional.
