Poem: Stop Waiting
One month of lockdown is already over. We all are hoping that, soon, lockdown will be a history. And yet, at times, we do feel depressed. One of our readers has sent us a poem telling us why and how we can appreciate our lockdown days. We feel it is a good read to cheer us up. Read and enjoy…
Stop waiting for good times to come,
Pick up that book or go for a run.
Who knows how soon life will be back on track,
Maybe, now is the time to cut some slack.
These days shall pass soon,
Pause a little and watch that moon.
Appreciate the people working for us day and night,
Know their struggles and understand their plight.
All of us are in this together!
No matter if you are a ceo, an industrialist or a teacher,
Doctors, nurses and police are the main keepers.
For now, it’s just this moment,
No less and still no more
A simple life reflection,
No clues for what’s in store.
Maybe it’s less about Life and more about Living,
Maybe this is the new Normal,
Maybe this is the right Time,
Stop waiting and enjoy the Quarantine!!!
