CBSE Merit Scholarships for Single Girl Child for +2
CBSE invites ‘Online applications’ from eligible students who have passed Class X examination 2020 from the CBSE affiliated schools for the following scholarship schemes –
- CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child for + 2 studies – 2020.
- Renewal of online applications of CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for single girl child X pass awarded in 2019.
The details and eligibility conditions along with the application form are available on the board’s website (www.cbse.nic.in) at Scholarship Link.
The last date for submission of online applications is 10 December 2020 and hard copy of application form (renewal only) can be submitted on or before 28 December 2020.
Mega Career Fest at Khaitan Public School
Khaitan Public School, Sahibabad, recently organised a two-day long Mega Career Fest 2020. 67 representatives from various universities from across the world participated in this virtual event.
The event provided a platform to the senior secondary students from all streams to explore different professional and undergraduate education opportunities available in various renowned universities in India and abroad. 28 representatives from international universities and more than 20 Indian Premier University‘s representatives took the sessions as per their assigned courses. A total of 22 specific course-wise sessions were held in a well- structured manner. 937 students were present throughout the sessions.
Mahendra Singh Tanwar, Commissioner of Ghaziabad, along with eminent speakers and career counsellors Jitin Chawla and Dr Pratibha Jain were the chief guests at the event.
Ampersand Group celebrates Children’s Week across India
Children’s Week was celebrated by Ampersand Group recently by organising virtual events for its students. The group operates and manages pre-primary to K12 schools across India reaching out to over 25,000 students with this initiative.
Students posted inspirational messages with many of them thanking their teachers for conducting online lectures during the pandemic. Students uploaded videos reciting poems, drew portraits of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and also dressed as the former prime minister. They also shared videos of their ambitions, drawings, photographs of their activities conducted during the week. Teachers also posted messages for their students.
Ampersand Group also extended its support to the Government of Maharashtra’s initiative in this regard and urged its students to participate and post videos using #baldivas2020.
The children’s week had the participation of the anganwadis in Nashik which is under Public Private Partnership with the Ministry of Women & Child Development, balwadis under the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai in Maharashtra, and Hubble Adarsh Senior Secondary Schools in Punjab. Ampersand Group launched the celebrations to enable students to share and post messages online by tagging #ForUsEveryDayIsChildren’sDay and #HappyChildren’sDay.
