When we talk about ‘Art’, a lot of things come to our mind like painting, theatre, writing, dancing, singing, etc. When we express or apply our creative skill and imagination, usually in a visual form, it becomes art. These works are often appreciated for their beauty or emotional power.

Although children are encouraged to take it up as a hobby, art as a career option is seldom encouraged. That’s because money is usually a constraint in the initial days of career. But the profession can be extremely rewarding as it will satisfy your creative hunger. Plus, money is no constraint once you establish your name.

It is not possible to discuss all art forms in one article. Hence, we would focus on the following three:

  • Theatre

PAINTING

This is the most accepted art form known to mankind. The most popular types of paint include oil, acrylic, watercolour and tempera.

  • Good observation skills

It involves enacting in front of an audience; includes musicals, ballets, operas, plays, etc.

Skills Required:

  • Good oratory skills
  • Good diction
  • Sensitivity so that you can understand and feel the character you are playing​

Qualifications:

10+2 in any stream though not compulsory
