Shocking: Principal turns toilet into his office
Imagine entering a school to meet its principal and being directed towards boys toilet – for that’s where the principal sits. It is the principal’s room! Sounds absurd? Well, this is what has happened in Government Higher Secondary School located at Pahari village in Seoni district of Madhya Pradesh.
It has converted its boys toilet as the makeshift office of the principal. And that’s not all! Photographs of famous personalities including prime minister Narendra Modi adorn the walls of this office.
The reason behind this bizarre move is even more preposterous. The New Indian Express in its report quotes principal Manish Mishra, “The school building was handed over to us in 2014-15. We have to run two sections each for class IX and class X, but there are only three classrooms. So we converted the principal’s office into the fourth classroom, leaving us with no option but to use the boys toilet for my office.”
