This start-up is providing solutions for job-hunting students

Given the pandemic and rising unemployment in the country, it’s not easy for students to get jobs. In order to help students in their job-hunting process, Utsav Tiwari has started a company, Socially Xcceptable.

“Socially Xcceptable was born out of the need for a genuine career service provider in the Indian market. With job portals focusing on database selling and CV flashing services, the market in India lacked a contributor who could assist job-seekers with honest consultancy and candidate services,” said its founder, Utsav Tiwari.

Writing resumes, letters, creating stunning infographics, portfolios, elevator pitches, video resumes, developing LinkedIn profiles, personalised websites, biographies and conducting mock interviews are some of the latest additions to its services. Earlier, it provided free counselling sessions to students.

So far, the company claims to have delivered more than 700 resumes/career charts, conducted 70 plus one-to-one counselling sessions and about 35 mock interview sessions. Encouraged by the response, it hopes to launch its mobile-app very soon.
