On the occasion of Children’s Day, Indirapuram Public School, Indirapuram, held its annual fair Umang, transforming the school campus into a lively hub of joy and celebration. This much-anticipated event brought together both teachers and students for a day filled with creativity, delicious food and vibrant activities, making it a highlight of the school calendar.
This time, teachers from various departments and school houses set up various stalls for the children, offering delicious food and exciting games. Each house showcased different seasons of the country – Prerna house represented the monsoon season, Pragati house the winter season, Shakti house the summer season, Shanti house the spring season, and the Cambridge wing representing the autumn season. These were displayed through delectable dishes, attractive decorations, and captivating games.

Chatori Gali was the highlight of the event, renowned for its delicious food. Alongside the DJ, there were thrilling swings, live performances, the school band, and captivating dance and music performances by parents. Anoop Kumar Baruah, a renowned theater personality and former PRO of NSD was the distinguished guest at the event.
Congratulating students on children’s day, Rita Singh, Director and Principal of Indirapuram Group, said that childhood and fairs are complementary to each other, and children’s day is the perfect day to organise such an event.
