Government of Japan has decided to invite 80 students/ youths from India to visit Japan under the JENESYS short-term invitation programme.
This year, in cooperation with AFS India, Japan is inviting four groups based on different themes. Following a post-arrival orientation on December 5, the selected participants will get to see local cities and experience Japanese culture and technology through exchange programmes and home stay held at various places.

About JENESYS Programme:
JENESYS stands for “Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths” and is a people-to-people exchange programme between Japan and the Asia-Pacific region.
JENESYS’s objective is to promote mutual trust and understanding among the younger generations of Japan and the Asia-Pacific region, and to build a basis for future friendship and cooperation in the region and to encourage their understanding of Japan’s economics, society, history, diverse culture, politics and diplomatic relations.
